OUR KIDS NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Google VoiceGoogle Voice is essentially an online telephone. Students and parents can call you, or vice versa, without having your actually phone number! You can call using your computer OR your phone. You can visit Google's support page to see how to set it up. The one caveat is that it is not available for enterprise or schools accounts, so you would need to set up or use a personal Google account. You will need to enter your phone number, but your number will be hidden when placing and receiving calls. | Video Let your sweet students see your face! You can record short, sweet messages, sing them a song, read them a book, tell them you miss them, offer directions or quick tutorials...the list goes on! All you have to do is record yourself with your phone or computer and then upload to Drive, Seesaw, or some other site you use for communication. You can also get the share link (make sure "anyone with the link can view" and send it through Remind or any other communication platform. | virtual MeetingSadly, we do not have Google Hangouts Meet set up for students. You could, however, create a video chat through Calendar or Google Hangouts itself and email that link to your students' parents. This would give you the ability to have face-to-face discussions as needed. You could also send that link to several people and have a virtual-class/lesson!
