From art to historic events to the world wonders, Google Cultural Institute will allow you and your students to explore, experience, and learn like never before!

Google's Historic Moments offers online exhibitions detailing stories behind significant moments in human history! Using documents, photos, and videos, each exhibit tells a story. From Wold War I to the Watergate Scandal, this is a great place to find artifacts your students can study and view to help learning be more authentic.

From the archaeological areas of Pompeii to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, Google’s World Wonders Project aims to bring to life the wonders of the modern and ancient world. By using Google's Street View technology, viewers have a unique opportunity to take a peak at an area and walk around as is they were actually standing there! This about how much more engaging this might make your class! Studying the Great Wall of China? Pair your lesson with Google's Expeditions  virtual reality, and your students will be excited to learn and completely immersed in your lesson!

With Google's Art Project, viewers can discover art collections from around the world by exploring artworks in incredible detail, view exhibitions, and take virtual tours through museums!

It is definitely worth taking your time to check out these resources! Let me know if I can help you find anything in particular.

My name is Beth Dabney. I have been working in Anderson School District 2 for nine years.
