Days 1 & 2 - Research and Illustrate
Days 2 & 3 - Record and Finish PosterStudents recorded their facts by clicking on the "sounds" tab, then the volume+ button at the bottom. After clicking on the microphone and clicking "allow", they recorded (and in some cases rerecorded and rerecorded) their five facts. Students named each clip short name to describe that clip. This comes in handy when coding. |
Day 3 - Code and WireNext, students coded their posters using block-based coding. They dropped in the Event block "when _____ key is pressed" and connected it with the sound block "play sound _______ until done". Students then had to change each key to be a different one (space, left, right, up, and down), and had to change all of the sounds to be one of their five facts. See the coded example below. |
